Combined qualification training course
(Senior) Project Manager (IPMA Level C®/IPMA Level B®) – including the Level D compendium
The combined training course for (Senior) Project Managers (IPMA Level C®/IPMA Level B®) including the knowledge transfer of the Level D compendium first follows the course outline of the regular Level D workshops. The first part of the
training is thus exactly the same as the Level D training course.
The combined qualification training course starts with a one-day kickoff. During the subsequent three three-day workshops, the integral components and techniques of project management will be outlined, interrelated and applied to different project areas and phases. Techniques and tools will be explained and applied to case studies, exercises and the so-called ”Transfer Evidence Report” that participants compile as part of their certification requirements in the course of the training. Depending on whether you would like to become certified as Project Management Associate (IPMA Level D®) or not, you will need the Level D knowledge either for the preparation of a complete Level D certification or for the written Level D exam that will be part of your Level C/B certification.
Technical, behavioral and contextual project management topics are practiced and reflected in plenary and working groups through presentations and experienced based learning projects. At the end of the training course, you will be systematically prepared for the oral and written Level D certification examination.
Afterwards, the Level C/B upgrade training course starts with a one-day kick-off workshop that is used predominantly to complete all formalities (self-assessment, registration, project lists) and answer all questions concerning the certification process (one-day assessment,
The kick-off is followed by two two-day workshops that focus on technical and social topics related to the management of projects, portfolios and programs in organizations. The workshops will each include a one-day project assessment that lay a special emphasis on behavioral competencies.
The aim of the training course is to intensively prepare all participants for the three-day certification. Furthermore, the training course aims to offer participants a floor to reflect and discuss their day-to-day experiences in projects with other experts and senior managers.
